Problem with a VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2L 16v 2004

Timing chain noisy on cold start and fast idle, also noisy around 2,500 rpm when engine up to operating temperature.

The fault was cured by carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush for an hour and a half.

The noise had gone before the oil was drained and had also completely gone on cold start-up.

Vehicle not serviced for last three years and suffering with excessive knocking and ticking noise on the top end, suspect noise due to hydraulic valve lifters or variable valve timing.

After further investigation live data showed that the variable valve timing was sticking due to contamination build-up.

After the road test the engine management light remained off with no fault codes stored.

Engine non-start due to no compression and contamination in oil due to engine not breathing correctly. Customer was quoted £1000 for a new engine by a Mazda dealer.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush to starting engine and flushing for 5 hours. Oil and filter change was carried out adding another Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and flushing for a further 2 hours. The oil and filter was then replaced adding Forté Oil System Protector and Forté Oil Fortifier into the new oil.

After treatment it was reported that the engine was starting and running normally and the engine compression was restored.

The faults were cured by adding Forté Seal Conditioner into the crankcase and carry out an extended road test. After 75 miles the blue smoking had stopped, and the leak on the rocker cover was also cured.

Judder/vibration from automatic transmission when pulling away. This is a common fault which Honda recommend to flush the automatic transmission with new fluid and then drain and replace the fluid a second time to cure the fault.

Problem with a MITSUBISHI SHOGUN 3.2L Di-DC 2008 88K

Lack of power, EML and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) warning lights on. Fault codes stored P2413 EGR system performance problem, P1498 DPF overloaded.

The fault was cured by removing and cleaning the EGR valve and inlet manifold, the DPF was also removed pouring Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the DPF, soaking overnight then rinsing with hot water and drying with compressed air. The vehicle was then treated using Forté Clean & Protect, 45 minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator and Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment added to the fuel tank. The vehicle was then taken for an extended road test to allow regeneration of the DPF.

Problem with a LR RANGE ROVER SPORT 2.7L TDV6

Engine management light on, fault code stored P0489 exhaust gas recirculation system. The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect, 45 minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil, 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.

Problem with a JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2.7L CRD

Excessive carbon deposits around all injectors and injector wiring due to failure of injector copper washer seals. The fault is caused by contaminated injectors causing an excessive increase in combustion pressure.

The fault was cured by using Forté Air Intake Cleaner to soak into and soften the carbon deposits to remove the injectors and wiring, replacing the injector copper washer seals and adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank to clean the fuel system and restore the injector spray patterns.

Problem with a LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2.5 TDi 1997

Oil leak from front differential oil seal. The fault was cured by adding Forté Seal Conditioner into the front differential and allowing a few hundred miles for the product to work.

Problem with a BMW X5 2004 4.6L 70K

Excessive oil burning 1 litre every 1,000 miles. The vehicle was treated using Forté's Clean & Protect adding 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush treatments for 45 minutes and adding 2 x Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil and Forté's Advanced Formula Gas Treatment to the fuel tank.

The owner monitored the oil level and reported it was now only using 1 litre every 3,000 miles.

Problem with a PEUGEOT 206 2003

Notchy and poor gear change on manual gearbox in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.

The fault was cured by replacing the gear oil and adding Forté Automatic Transmission Treatment into the new oil.

Lack of power, misfire and engine also burning oil. Management light on and fault codes stored P0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire, P0301, P0303 cylinders 1, 3 misfire, P0171 system to lean. ECU shutting off injectors due to misfire.

The fault was cured by carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Advanced Formula Gas Treatment and Forté Specialist Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank and carrying out a 15-20 mile road test.
