Lack of power, EML and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) warning lights on. Fault codes stored P2413 EGR system performance problem, P1498 DPF overloaded.
The fault was cured by removing and cleaning the EGR valve and inlet manifold, the DPF was also removed pouring Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the DPF, soaking overnight then rinsing with hot water and drying with compressed air. The vehicle was then treated using Forté Clean & Protect, 45 minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator and Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment added to the fuel tank. The vehicle was then taken for an extended road test to allow regeneration of the DPF.

Problem with a LR RANGE ROVER SPORT 2.7L TDV6
Engine management light on, fault code stored P0489 exhaust gas recirculation system. The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect, 45 minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil, 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.

Problem with a JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2.7L CRD
Excessive carbon deposits around all injectors and injector wiring due to failure of injector copper washer seals. The fault is caused by contaminated injectors causing an excessive increase in combustion pressure.
The fault was cured by using Forté Air Intake Cleaner to soak into and soften the carbon deposits to remove the injectors and wiring, replacing the injector copper washer seals and adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank to clean the fuel system and restore the injector spray patterns.

Problem with a LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2.5 TDi 1997
Oil leak from front differential oil seal. The fault was cured by adding Forté Seal Conditioner into the front differential and allowing a few hundred miles for the product to work.
