Oil pressure warning light on, oil pressure switch replaced. Fault not cured and no oil pressure shown with an oil pressure gauge connected.
The fault was cured by using Clean & Protect, 30 minute Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out, adding Oil System Protector to the new oil. The oil pressure was restored to 60 psi.

Reconditioned manual gearbox had developed difficulty in changing gears.
The fault was cured by using one tube of Diff And Gear Treatment, gear change now smooth and the gearbox quieter.

Problem with a DAEWOO LANOS

Engine misfire, suspect fault due to sticking valves. The fault was cured by carrying out a 45 minute Advanced Formula Motor Flush, adding 2 x Advanced Formula Gas Treatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.

Engine management light on, fault code stored for diesel particulate trap fault, suspect particulate filter blocked.
The fault was cured by using Clean & Protect, 45 minute Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out, adding Oil System Protector to the new oil and adding 2 x Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank and a long road test was carried out to allow regeneration of the particulate filter.

Problem with a HONDA CRV AUTOMATIC

Poor gear change with harsh banging and snatching. Automatic Transmission Treatment was added with slight improvement.
The Forte Technical Helpline recommended adding 2 x Automatic Transmission Treatment and driving the vehicle for 50-100 miles, change the transmission fluid and add 1 x Automatic Transmission Treatment to the new oil.

Excessive blue smoke and oil burning.
The fault was cured by using Clean & Protect, 45 minute Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out, adding Oil System Protector to the new oil and Advanced Formula Gas Treatment to the fuel tank.
After a 10 minute road test the excessive smoke completely stopped.
