The fault was cured by replacing the DPF pressure sensor, adding Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test to allow regeneration of particulate filter.

Problem with a SUBARU OUTBACK 2.0 L 2010 85k
Diesel Particulate Filter warning light on, suspect diesel particulate filter blocked. After further investigation it was found that the engine had a split turbo pipe. The DPF was also checked on diagnostic machine showing DPF pressure at 350 mbar.
The fault was cured by replacing the turbo pipe, removing the DPF and manually cleaning with 2 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions. The DPF pressure was also rechecked showing the DPF pressure at 100 mbar.

Problem with a FORD TRANSIT TDCi 2012 112k
Lack of power and engine management light on, suspect diesel particulate filter blocked. DPF checked on diagnostic machine showing filter blockage 200% and fault code stored for EGR valve fault.
The fault was cured by replacing the EGR valve, removing the DPF and manually cleaning with 2 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank. The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle performance restored.

Problem with a NISSAN QASHQAI 1.5 L DCi 2011 50k
Vehicle recovered as engine not running. After further investigation and disconnecting the DPF, the engine would run, fault due excessively blocked Diesel Particulate Filter.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF and manually cleaning with 3 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank. The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle running well and full power restored.

Problem with a FORD C-MAX 1.6 L TDCi 2010 101k
Engine management light on, lack of power and hesitation. Fault codes stored P244F DPF soot accumulation, P2458 DPF regeneration duration and P2459 DPF regeneration frequency. Suspect fault due to heavily blocked DPF.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF and manually cleaning with Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank.
