Problem with a PEUGEOT 308 1.6 2008 30K

Lack of power and erratic idle. After further inspection it was found that the fault was caused by excessive carbon build-up on the valves. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Forté Valve Cleaner as per instructions, Clean and Protect (Forté Oil System Protector and Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out and Forté Advanced Formula GasTreatment added to the fuel tank. After treatment, the vehicle was taken on an extended road test.

Problem with a TOYOTA HIACE 2.5L D-4D 2008 94K

Lack of power and engine management light on, fault code stored P0400 EGR system flow malfunction. New EGR valve fitted at Toyota dealers, fault still present. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Forté Diesel Intake Cleaner as per instructions, Forté Clean and Protect (Forté Oil System Protector and Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out and Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment added to the fuel tank and a 50-mile road test was carried out. After treatment the fault code cleared and the vehicle performance was restored.

Problem with a FIAT PANDA 1.3 CDTI 2005 50K

Vehicle used for short stop/start journeys. Fault code stored for turbo and P0106 Map sensor/barometric sensor range performance. 

The fault was cured by replacing the map sensor and adding Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner and Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank. The inlet system was cleaned with Forté Diesel Intake Cleaner and Clean and Protect (Forté Oil System Protector & Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out. After the treatment, the vehicle performance was restored.

Problem with a AUDI TT 2.0L TDI 2008 52K

Lack of power, engine management light, DPF and glow plug lights on, fault code stored for diesel particulate filter soot content too high. DPF checked filter soot loading at 98%, and unable to carry out a forced regeneration.

The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect, 45-minute Forté New Generation Engine Flush adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator and Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner added to the fuel tank. The car was then taken for a 1-hour road test at 60 mph 3,000 rpm to allow regeneration of the particulate filter. After the road test the DPF soot loading was reduced to 27%. The owner reported the car had never driven so well.
