Problem with a JAGUAR XJ6 2.7L 2008 45K

Lack of power, fault code stored for DPF fault. Suspect particulate filter blocked.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and 2 x Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank and carrying out a 20-mile road test to allow regeneration of the particulate filter. It is also recommended to use Forté Clean & Protect (Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and Forté Oil System Protector to clean and maintain the oil system, and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank to restore spray patterns and combustion efficiency.

Problem with a AUDI A4 2.0L TDI 2008 35K

Lack of power, engine management light on and DPF warning light on, fault code stored for DPF fault. Vehicle check at dealers showing the DPF filter soot loading 126%, recommending a new DPF is fitted.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank and carrying out a 20-30-mile road test at 50-60 mph 2,500 rpm. After the road test, the DPF was rechecked showing the filter soot loading at 18% and lack of power restored.

Problem with a VOLVO XC90 2.4L D5 2004 120k

Lack of power, running in limp mode and engine cutting out. Fault codes stored relating to fuel pressure.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank, the car was then taken on an extended road test. The customer also reported that the fault was cured and the vehicle performance was restored.

Problem with a CITROEN C3 1.6 L HDI 2004 68K

Failing emissions test due to excessive black smoke, vehicle only used for short journeys.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced FormulaDiesel Treatment into the tank and carrying out a 20-mile road test. After the road test there was only slight black smoke from the exhaust, emissions retested and passed.

Poor running and misfire, no fault codes stored. Injectors checked showing injector pulse too long.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Petrol SpecialistInjector Cleaner and carrying out a 25-mile road test.

Problem with a TOYOTA COROLLA 2.0L D4-D 2008 155K

Very poor starting, slight misfire from cold and excessive smoke until engine gets hot. Suspect fault due to contaminated injectors.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. The customer returned two days later stating the car was now starting as normal with no smoking and the misfire had gone.
