Problem with a FORD TRANSIT CONNECT 1.8L TDCi


Lack of power and engine management light on, fault code stored for DPF. Suspect DPF heavily
blocked. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the DPF using the Forté Power-Clean DPF Cleaner and Forté Power-Clean DPF Flush, carrying out an extended road test and resetting the DPF fault codes.

Problem with a SKODA OCTAVIA 2.0L TDi 2005


Lack of power and black smoke, suspect fault due to sticking turbo vanes. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the turbo using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Turbo Cleaner for one hour and carrying out an extended road test. 

After the road test the black smoke had stopped and the performance was restored.

Problem with a AUDI A3 2.0L FSi 2003


Poor running at idle and emissions readings checked indicated an air leak. No air leaks found, suspect
fault due to sticking valves. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Forté Valve Cleaner as per instructions, Forté Clean and Protect (Forté Oil System Protector and Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out and Forté Advanced Formula Gas Treatment added to the fuel tank. 

After treatment the vehicle was running smoothly on idle and the emission readings restored.

Problem with a SAAB 9-3 1.9L TiD 2005 120k


Poor running, hunting on idle and cutting out, suspect fault due to contaminated injectors. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the injectors for 20 minutes using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Injection Cleaner

After only 10 minutes cleaning the engine was idling perfectly.

Problem with a LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 3 2.7L TDV6 2007


Tapping noise on engine and slight lumpy running. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the injectors using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Injection Cleaner

After cleaning the vehicle running smoother and the mpg increased from 26 mpg up to 31.5 mpg.

Problem with a VAUXHALL ASTRA 1.6L 16V 2000 117k

Failing emissions test and misfire. 

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Gas Treatment and Forté Petrol Specialist Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank. 

Road test carried out for 30 miles, misfire stopped, and emissions retest passed.

Problem with a FORD FIESTA 1.4 L TDCi 2010 55k

Failing emissions test 7.4 m-1. MoT default limit 1.5 m-1 vehicle plate value 1.1 m-1. 

The fault was cured by replacing the air and fuel filter, carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the tank. 

The vehicle then had a 20-mile road test, emissions retested and passed at 0.9 m-1.
