Problem with a FIAT DUCATO 2.2 L HDI 2007 97K

Misfiring under load and loss of power, various fault codes stored for injector faults.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Diesel SpecialistInjector Cleaner into the tank, running the engine on idle for 30 minutes and carrying out an extended road test.

After the road test the misfire was cured, and the power was restored.

The owner also reported 2 weeks later that the van had never run so well.

Problem with a FORD FOCUS 1.8L Petrol


Surging and erratic idle, vehicle had been taken to other garages but fault not cured. Suspect fault
due to contamination build-up in the intake system. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Intake Cleaner and carrying out an extended road test.

Problem with a BMW 120i 2.0L 2005 53k


Excessive blue smoke from exhaust due to engine oil burning. 

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and flushing the engine for one hour and adding Forté Oil Fortifier to the new oil.

Problem with a AUDI A3 2.0L TDi 2006 175k


Failed emissions test at 1.8m-1 plate value 1.0m-1. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Intake Cleaner, adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. 

Emissions rechecked after road test and reduced to 0.2m-1.

Problem with a FORD FIESTA 1.4 L TDCi 2010 55k


Failing emissions test 7.4 m-1. MOT default limit 1.5 m-1 vehicle plate value 1.1 m-1. 

The fault was cured by replacing the air and fuel filter, carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel TurboCleaner into the tank. 

The vehicle then had a 20-mile road test, emissions retested and passed at 0.9 m-1.

Problem with a BMW X3 2.0L D 2006 91k


Lack of power and engine management light on, fault code stored for DPF. Unable to accelerate
engine above 2,000 rpm in fourth gear due to heavy blockage of the DPF. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the DPF using the Forté Power-Clean DPF Cleaner and Forté Power-Clean DPFFlush, resetting the DPF fault codes and carrying out a 35-minute road test.
