Problem with a AUDI A3 2.0L TDi 2006 175k


Failed emissions test at 1.8m-1 plate value 1.0m-1. 

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system using the Forté Power-Clean Diesel Intake Cleaner, adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. 

Emissions rechecked after road test and reduced to 0.2m-1.

Problem with a VAUXHALL ASTRA 1.6 L 2008 58k

Engine rattle on start-up from variable valve timing, suspect fault due to contamination build-up in oil system.

The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect, 45-minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil.

Problem with a LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT 3.6 L TDV8 2008 140k

Engine management light on and lack of power, fault code stored P045C EGR valve fault. Suspect fault due to contaminated & sticking EGR valve.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and Forté DieselTurbo Cleaner into the fuel tank. The customer reported after a week the power was restored but the engine management light was still on.

The vehicle was treated further with Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and Forté DieselSpecialist Injector Cleaner and the engine management light went off and fault code cleared.

Problem with a CITROËN C3 1.6 L HDi 2004 68k

Failing emissions test due to excessive black smoke, vehicle only used for short journeys.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the tank and carrying out a 20-mile road test. After the road test there was only slight black smoke from the exhaust, emissions retested and passed.

Problem with a BMW X3 2.0d 2007 83k

Lack of power and DPF warning light on, fault caused by restricted exhaust gas flow due to DPF blockage. After further investigation the oil was also checked which was thick and heavily contaminated.

The fault was cured by replacing the DPF pressure sensor, adding 2 x Forté New Generation Engine Flush carrying out an extended flush and adding 2 x Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner, 2 x Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the tank. The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle power and performance restored.
