Vehicle not serviced for last three years and suffering with excessive knocking and ticking noise on the top end, suspect noise due to hydraulic valve lifters or variable valve timing.
After further investigation live data showed that the variable valve timing was sticking due to contamination build-up.
The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect: a 1 hour Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil.

Problem with a Ford Mondeo 2.0L TDCi 2004 80K
Intermittent injector fault when starting resulting in an engine misfire and running on three cylinders. Engine runs normal when switched off and and restarted after a short period of time.
The fault was cured by adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the fuel tank and carrying out a 60 mile road test.

Problem with a Ford Focus C-MAX 2.0L TDCi 2005 102K
Knocking noise from the engine on cold start, suspect fault due to contaminated injectors.
The fault was cured by adding Forte Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner in the the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.
The customer reported that the fault was cured the next day and that it had not returned five weeks after treatment.
