Problem with a FORD MONDEO 2.0L TDCi 2006 103k

Loss of power and engine going into limp mode, engine management light coming on and glow plug light flashing. Fault code stored P123A turbo actuator fault.

After further investigation the turbo actuator was disconnected revealing that the turbo vanes were sticking due to carbon build-up.

The fault was cured by applying Forté Diesel I.M.V. Cleaner into the intake system as per instructions, adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.

Problem with a BMW 120i 2.0L 2005 53k

Excessive blue smoke from exhaust due to engine oil burning.

The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and flushing the engine for 1 hour and then adding Forté Oil Fortifier to the new oil.

Problem with a LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER 3.0L TD6 2002 135k

Engine misfire and hesitation when driven. Repair carried out to a damaged injector multi plug, engine misfire still present. Suspect fault due to a dirty and sticking injector.

The fault was cured by adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner into the fuel tank and running the vehicle on idle for 15 minutes.

The customer also reported that the vehicle had never run so well.

Problem with a CITROEN C3 1.6 HDi 2003

Excessive chattering noise from engine.

The fault was cured by using Forté Clean & Protect, 45 minute Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out adding Forté Oil System Protector to the new oil.

The customer reported a week later the noise had completely gone and the engine was running fine.

Problem with a PORSCHE BOXSTER S 3.2L 2000 60k

Hunting on idle and engine management fault code stored P1341 camshaft adjustment bank 1 VVT. Suspect fault due to sticking variable valve timing.

The fault was cured by carrying out a 1 hour Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Top End Treatment to the new oil.

Problem with a PEUGEOT 208 1.4L HDi 2012 30k

Vehicle going into limp mode and engine management light on. Fault code stored for turbo boost condition. Suspect fault due to sticking variable vanes on turbo.

The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Forté Diesel I.M.V. Cleaner as per instructions, Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush carried out and Forté's Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and Diesel Turbo Cleaner added into the fuel tank.

After treatment the vehicle was taken on an extended road test, and the vehicle performance was restored.
