Problem with a FORD FOCUS 1.8L TDCi 2001

Failing diesel emissions test and black smoking. No fault codes stored or faults found. 

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula DieselTreatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. 

Emissions retest passed and black smoke cured. 

Problem with a RANGE ROVER 2.7L TDV6 2007

Engine misfire, suspect fault due to contaminated injectors. 

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.

Problem with a FIAT PUNTO 2001 1.9L JTD 82K

Failed diesel emissions test at 6.4m-1 and black smoking. No fault codes stored or faults found. 

The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. 

Emissions retest passed at 1.6m-1 and black smoke cured.             

Problem with a CITROËN XSARA PICASSO 2.0L HDi 2003 111K

Intermittent non-start and cutting out fault code stored for low fuel pressure. After further investigation the fuel pressure was low when checked and metal filings were found in the fuel filter.

The fault was cured by cleaning the fuel filter housing and replacing the fuel filter and adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the fuel filter and the fuel tank. The fuel pressure was restored and engine running smoother.
