Loss of power and engine management light on. Fault codes stored P0638, P0221, P0222, P0607, P0121 all relating to throttle position and control module.
The fault was caused by a broken wire where the throttle body wiring meets the main wiring loom.

Problem with a MERCEDES C270 2.7D 2003 AUTO
MERCEDES C270 2.7D 2003 AUTO 140k
Automatic transmission stuck in one gear and will not change into any other gears, fault code
stored for a speed sensor fault and quoted £2,000 by local Mercedes dealer to repair.
The fault was cured by removing the sump from the automatic transmission, draining and replacing the transmission fluid and adding Automatic Transmission Treatment. The customer returned 3
weeks later to say the fault was cured and the auto box had never changed so well since owning
the car.

Problem with a PEUGEOT 206 1.4L 1999
PEUGEOT 206 1.4L 1999
Failed emission test on fast idle. CO 0.55% HC 48 Lambda 1.04. New catalyst fitted last year.
Various tests and treatments carried out. After measuring the temperature of the cat it was found that the temperature was reduced at the rear showing the cat inoperative. When checking the temperature there should be an 80-100 degree increase at the rear of the catalyst.
The catalytic converter was replaced and fault cured.

Problem with a FIAT PANDA 1.3 CDTI 2005

Vehicle used for short stop/start journeys.
Fault code stored for turbo and P0106 Map sensor / barometric sensor range performance.
Map sensor replaced and Diesel Turbo Cleaner and Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment added to the fuel tank. The inlet system was cleaned with Diesel I.M.V. Cleaner and Clean and Protect (Oil System Protector and Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out. After treatment the fault was cured and vehicle performance restored.

Problem with a HONDA CIVIC 1.6L 2002
HONDA CIVIC 1.6L 2002 80K
The vehicle was using oil and generally down on power with poor performance. A cylinder leakage test was carried out which showed an 11% leakage across the four cylinders.
Oil Fortifier was added to the engine oil and the vehicle left on idle for 15 minutes. A short road test was carried out. A second cylinder leakage test showed only a 2% leakage across the four cylinders. The customer reported a reduction in oil consumption and an improvement in the vehicle performance and response.

malfunction. New EGR valve fitted at Toyota dealers, fault still present.
The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Diesel I.M.V. Cleaner as per instructions, Clean and Protect (Oil System Protector and Advanced Formula Motor Flush) carried out, Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment added to the fuel tank and a 50 mile road test was carried out. After treatment the fault code cleared and the vehicle performance was restored.
