Failed diesel emissions test at 3.6m-1.
The fault was cured by adding Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test. Emissions re-tested and passed at 0.8m-1.

Problem with a AUDI A4 1.8L
AUDI A4 1.8L TURBO 2004 110K
Top end noisy and oil warning light flashing due to very low oil pressure. After further investigation and removing the oil sump the fault was found to be caused by excessive sludge build-up in the sump, blocking the oil strainer pickup pipe.
The fault was cured by cleaning the oil sump, replacing the oil pump and pickup pipe. The oil system was then treated using Clean & Protect, 45 minute Advanced Formula Motor Flush adding Oil System Protector to the new oil.

Lack of power, fault code stored for DPF fault. Suspect particulate filter blocked.
The fault was cured by adding Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and 2 x DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank and carrying out a 20 mile road test to allow regeneration of the particulate filter. It is also recommended to use Clean & Protect to clean and maintain the oil system and adding Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank to clean and lubricate the fuel system.

Excessive oil burning, 1.5 litres every 100-200 miles. BMW dealers recommend an engine rebuild. Suspect oil burning due to bore lacquering and sticking piston rings.
The fault was cured by using Clean & Protect, adding 2 x Advanced Formula Motor Flush and carrying out a 15 mile road test, adding Oil System Protector to the new oil and Advanced Formula Gas Treatment to the fuel tank. The oil level was monitored and after 200 miles showed no loss of oil.
