The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank, the car was then taken on an extended road test. The customer also reported that the fault was cured and the vehicle performance was restored.

Problem with a VW GOLF 1.6 L 16v Petrol 2002 90k
Failing MOT emissions test at fast idle CO 1.32%. Fault codes stored P0140 oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2 no signal, P1105 oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 short to battery positive & P1176 lambda correction bank 1 sensor 2 control limit reached. The throttle body was cleaned, coolant temperature sensor and EVAP system operation checked and both catalytic converters and front lambda sensor were replaced. Fault not cured and still failing emissions test.
The fault was cured by cleaning the intake system with Forté Valve Cleaner as per instructions and adding 2 x Forté Petrol Specialist Injector Cleaner into the fuel tank. After treatment the vehicle was taken on an extended road test, emissions retested and passed.

Problem with a FIAT DUCATO 2.2 L HDi 2007 97k
Misfiring under load and loss of power, various fault codes stored for injector faults.
The fault was cured by adding 2 x Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner into the tank, running the engine on idle for 30 minutes and carrying out an extended road test. After the road test the misfire was cured and the power was restored. The owner also reported 2 weeks later that the van had never run so well.

Problem with a CITROËN C3 1.6 L HDi 2004 68k
Failing emissions test due to excessive black smoke, vehicle only used for short journeys.
The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the tank and carrying out a 20 mile road test. After the road test there was only slight black smoke from the exhaust, emissions retested and passed.
