Vehicle recovered as engine not running. After further investigation and disconnecting the DPF, the engine would run, fault due excessively blocked Diesel Particulate Filter.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF and manually cleaning with 3 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank. The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle running well and full power restored.
