Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) fault and vehicle unable to run due to an excessively blocked
DPF.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF to manually clean using 2 x
Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner
and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank. The vehicle was
then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle power and
performance restored.
