Lack of power and EML on due to a DPF fault, soot loading
checked and reading 90% blocked. Suspect fault due to DPF blockage.
The fault
was cured by cleaning the DPF using the Forté
Power-Clean Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner, Forté
Power-Clean Diesel Particulate Filter Flush and adding Forté
Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté
DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank.
The vehicle was given
an extended road test and the soot loading was rechecked showing 18% with the
vehicle power and performance restored.
