Lack of power due to DPF fault, DPF soot loading checked
showing 46%. Suspect fault due to DPF blockage.
The fault was cured by cleaning
the DPF using the Forté
Power-Clean Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner, Forté
Power-Clean Diesel Particulate Filter Flush and adding Forté
Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté
DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank.
After cleaning the
vehicle was given an extended road test, the soot loading was rechecked, showing
the DPF was clear.
