Intermittent non-start and cutting out fault code stored for low fuel pressure. After further investigation the fuel pressure was low when checked and metal filings were found in the fuel filter.
The fault was cured by cleaning the fuel filter housing and replacing the fuel filter and adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment into the fuel filter and the fuel tank. The fuel pressure was restored and engine running smoother.
