EML on and lack of power due to engine running in limp mode, fault code
stored for DPF blockage, unable to carry out regeneration of DPF due to
excessive soot loading.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF and
manually cleaning with 2 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions,
carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the
fuel tank.
The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the
vehicle power and performance restored.
