Poor heater output and coolant circulation due to corrosion build-up in cooling system, EGR cooler damaged due to poor circulation.
The fault was cured by fitting a new EGR cooler, adding 8 bottles of Forté Bio Degreaser & Cooling System Flush into the cooling system with an estimated cooling system capacity of 70-80 litres.
vehicle was then run at fast idle for 30-40 minutes at operating temperature and the cooling system drained and
refilled with fresh coolant adding 2 bottles of Forté Radiator Stop Leak & Cooling System Conditioner.
