Lack of power due to engine running in limp mode, engine management and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) warning light on. Suspect DPF heavily blocked.
The fault was cured
by removing the DPF to manually clean using Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per
instructions, carrying out an extended Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush
adding Forté Oil System Protector into the new oil and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the
fuel tank.
The DPF was then regenerated and reset using diagnostic
equipment, showing 0% soot loading and taken on an extended road test
with the vehicle power and performance restored.
