Diesel particulate filter (DPF) warning light on, fault code stored P2002. DPF efficiency was below
the threshold. Unable to carry out regeneration of DPF due to soot loading.
The fault was cured by removing the DPF to manually clean using Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush and adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner
and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank.
The DPF was then
regenerated and reset using diagnostic equipment and taken on an
extended road test with the vehicle power and performance restored.
