Engine management light on and lack of power, fault code stored P045C EGR valve fault. Suspect fault due to contaminated
& sticking EGR valve.
The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and Forté DieselTurbo Cleaner into the fuel tank. The customer reported after a week the power was restored but the
engine management light was still on.
The vehicle was treated further with Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment and Forté DieselSpecialist Injector Cleaner and the engine management light went off and fault code cleared.
