Lack of power and DPF warning light on, fault caused by restricted exhaust gas flow due to DPF blockage.
After further investigation the oil was also checked which was thick and heavily contaminated.
The fault
was cured by replacing the DPF pressure sensor, adding 2 x Forté New Generation Engine Flush carrying
out an extended flush and adding 2 x Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner, 2 x Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the tank. The vehicle was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle power
and performance restored.
