EML on and fault code stored for a DPF fault, engine will only run on idle, suspect fault due to excessively
blocked DPF. After further investigation, the DPF was removed and the engine power was restored.
The fault
was cured by removing the DPF and manually cleaning with 2 x Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions,
adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner & Regenerator into the fuel tank. The vehicle
was then taken on an extended road test with the vehicle power and performance restored.
