Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) fault and vehicle unable to run due to excessively blocked DPF.
Fault caused by an air intake system leak
preventing regeneration.
The fault was cured by repairing the air leak and removing the DPF to manually clean
using Forté DPF Off-Car Cleaner as per instructions, carrying out an extended Forté New Generation Engine Flush,
adding Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner and Forté DPF Cleaner and Regenerator into the fuel tank.
The vehicle
was then taken on an extended road test.
