Loss of power and engine going into limp mode, engine management light coming on and glow plug light
flashing. Fault code stored P123A turbo actuator fault.
After further investigation the turbo actuator was
disconnected revealing that the turbo vanes were sticking due to carbon build-up.
The fault was cured by
applying Forté Diesel Intake Cleaner into the intake system as per instructions, adding Forté Diesel Specialist InjectorCleaner and Forté Diesel Turbo Cleaner into the fuel tank and carrying out an extended road test.
