Rough running, poor starting and misfire when cold.
New injectors fitted at BMW dealers costing £2,500, but fault was
not cured.
Dealer advised vehicle required the engine replacing. Customer advised to get a second opinion at
another garage.
The fault was cured by adding Forté Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment with Forté Diesel Specialist Injector Cleaner into the fuel tank, adding Forté Advanced Formula Motor Flush and carrying out a 50 mile road
test and replacing the oil & filter.
The customer also reported the vehicle’s performance was restored.
