Problem with a JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2.7 CRD

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2.7 CRD

Excessive carbon deposits around all injectors and injector wiring due to failure of injector copper washer seals. The fault is caused by contaminated injectors causing an excessive increase in combustion pressure.

The fault was cured by using Air Intake Cleaner to soak into and soften the carbon deposits to remove the injectors and wiring, replacing the injector copper washer seals and adding Advanced Formula Diesel Treatment to the fuel tank to clean the fuel system and restore the injector spray patterns.
